FI: Kellumo on Hietaniemenkadulla sijaitseva syvärentoutuskeskus, joka on kellutellut kaupunkilaisia ja matkailijoita jo vuodesta 2015. Rentoutuskellunnassa ei tarvitse osata yhtään mitään. Se on kuin matka ilman matkatavaroita. Laskeudut lämpimään, runsassuolaiseen veteen, joka kannattelee kehoasi kuin Kuollutmeri – ja kun valot ja äänet vaimenevat, raja veden ja ihon, kehon ja mielen väliltä alkaa hälvetä. Moni kuvailee tunnetta leijumiseksi avaruudessa; toiset kertovat kokeneensa syvimmän rauhan tilan koskaan. Joku torkahtaa, joku saa elämänsä parhaat ideat, ja moni vain nauttii siitä, ettei tarvitse hetkeen olla yhtään missään. Session jälkeen nouset vedestä kevyempänä kuin sinne menit. Elämyksen voi halutessaan kruunata suomalaisella Neurosonic-värähtelyhoidolla, jossa hellävarainen värinä rauhoittaa hermoston kuin huomaamatta. Ja kellunnan jälkeen kaupunki odottaa entistä kirkkaampana – kenties kahvikin maistuu jotenkin paremmalta. Kellumo löytyy kävelymatkan päässä Kampin keskuksesta, ja toinen toimipiste palvelee Espoon Matinkylässä. EN: Kellumo, on Hietaniemenkatu, is a deep relaxation centre which has been floating locals and travellers in the heart of the city since 2015. Floatation needs no skills whatsoever – think of it as a journey without luggage. You lower yourself into warm, heavily salted water that carries your body like the Dead Sea. As the lights and sounds fade away, the line between water and skin, body and mind, begins to blur. Some describe it as drifting in outer space; others say it's the deepest calm they've ever felt. Some doze off, some get their best ideas, and many simply enjoy not having to be anywhere at all for a while. After the session, you rise from the water lighter than you went in. If you want to take the relaxation one step further, you can top off your float with Neurosonic – a Finnish-developed treatment where gentle vibrations soothe your nervous system almost without you noticing. Afterwards, the city feels brighter, and even the coffee somehow tastes better. Kellumo is a short walk from Kamppi in central Helsinki, with a second location in Matinkylä, Espoo.
