FI: Ruoholahdessa sijaitseva Kaapelitehdas on yksi Suomen suurimmista kulttuurikeskuksista.
Entisestä merikaapeleita valmistaneesta rouheasta tehdasmiljööstä löytyy runsaasti tekemistä, näkemistä ja kokemista kaikille kulttuurin ystäville.
Poikkea museoon, vaikutu tanssista, hullaannu harrastuksista, nauti festivaalista, herkuttele hetkessä ja insipiroidu tekemisen vapaudesta.
Kaapelitehtaalla toimii mm. kolme museota (Suomen valokuvataiteen museo, Hotelli- ja ravintolamuseo sekä Teatterimuseo), gallerioita, tanssiteattereita, ravintoloita ja kahviloita, taidekouluja sekä taiteilijoita, bändejä ja erilaisia luovien alojen yrityksiä. Helmikuussa 2022 Tanssin talo avasi ovensa Kaapelitehtaan vieressä.
Kaapelitehtaan vuokrattavissa tiloissa järjestetään festivaaleja, seminaareja, messuja, konsertteja ja näyttelyitä ympäri vuoden.
Kahvila- ja tapahtumatila Kaapelitehtaan Kahvibaari on talon sydän ja olohuone. Se tarjoaa kaikille Kaapelitehtaan kävijöille viihtyisän hengähdyspaikan.
Kaapelitehtaan katettu aula ja pääsisäänkäynti Lasipiha on ainutlaatuinen tila Helsingissä. Siellä kävijöitä palvelee infopiste, lipunmyynti sekä lahjatavaroita myyvä Tehtaanmyymälä.

I fabriken, där man tidigare tillverkade sjökabel, finns det mycket att göra, se och uppleva för alla kulturälskade.
Titta in i museet, bli imponerad av dansen, inspirerad av hobbyer eller njut av festivalen, stunden och friheten att göra vad man vill.
I Kabelfabriken finns det bl.a. tre museer (Teatermuseet, Hotell- och restaurangmuseet och Finlands fotografiska museum), gallerier, dansaktörer, restauranger och kaféer, konstskolor samt många konstnärer, band, och kreativa företag. I februari 2022, Dansens Hus öppnade sina dörrar i anslutning till Kabelfabriken.
I husets lokaler, som också kan hyras, ordnas festivaler, seminarer, mässor, konserter och utställningar året om.
Kabelfabrikens Kahvibaari, som rymmer ett café och en evenemangslokal, är Kabelfabrikens pulserande hjärta och vardagsrum. Det fungerar som en bekväm oas för alla besökare.
En inglasad lobby kallad Glasgården är Kabelfabrikens huvudingång. Där betjänas besökarna av en infopunkt, en biljettkassa och fabriksbutiken Tehtaanmyymälä.

Once an industrial complex producing marine cables, the centre now offers lots to do, see and experience for everybody interested in culture.
Drop into the museum, be impressed by the dancing, get caught up in the activities, enjoy a festival, savour a snack and be inspired by the freedom of doing all kind of things.
Cable Factory houses e.g. three museums (Finnish Museum of Photography, Theatre Museum and Hotel and Restaurant Museum), galleries, dance theatres, restaurants and cafés, art schools, artists, bands and companies active in the creative industry. Dance House Helsinki opened its doors next to Cable Factory in February 2022.
The rented spaces are used for festivals, seminars, fairs, concerts and exhibitions all year round.
Cable Factory’s Kahvibaari is the heart and living room of the house and it offers a pleasant place to pause and recharge for all visitors.
Cable Factory’s covered lobby and main entrance the Glass courtyard is a unique space in Helsinki. Inside there is an info point, ticket sales and a factory shop Tehtaanmyymälä.
