Museo auttaa ymmärtämään maailmaa keskittyen yhteiskunnallisesti merkittäviin kehityssuuntiin – erityisesti hyvinvoinnin, ilmastonmuutoksen, digitalisaation, kestävän kehityksen ja yleiskäyttöisten teknologioiden ratkaisuihin sekä tulevaisuuteen.
SV: Tekniska museet berättar historien om förhållandet mellan tid, människor och teknik. Det bevarar, undersöker, tolkar och vidarebefordrar historien, nutiden och framtiden för finsk teknik och industri.
Museets permanenta och speciella utställningar hålls i en härlig gammal industrimiljö vid den natursköna Gammelstadsforsen.
