FI: Suomenlinnan harmaaksi rapattu kirkko on yksi Helsingin vanhimmista pyhäköistä. Se tervehtii mereltä tulijoita morsettamalla kustavilaistyylisen torninsa loistosta Helsingin merkiksi H-kirjainta. Alun perin ortodoksiseksi varuskuntakirkoksi rakennettu liekkikupolikirkko muutettiin 1920-luvulla maan itsenäistyttyä luterilaiseksi kirkoksi. Kirkon tornissa toimii yhä laiva- ja lentoliikennettä palveleva majakka.
SV: Den grårappade Sveaborgs kyrka är en av Helsingfors äldsta helgedomar. Den hälsar besökare till havs välkomna genom att från skenet av sitt torn i gustaviansk stil morsera bokstaven H som symbol för Helsingfors. Lökkupolkyrkan, som ursprungligen byggdes som en ortodox garnisonskyrka, gjordes på 1920-talet, till följd av Finlands självständighet, om till en luthersk kyrka. I kyrkans torn fungerar fortfarande en fyr som tjänar fartygs- och flygtrafiken.
EN: Plastered grey, the Suomenlinna church is one of the oldest shrines in Helsinki. It greets those arriving from the sea by transmitting the H code with its Gustavian style tower, to indicate Helsinki. The onion domed church, originally built as an orthodox garrison church, was converted into a Lutheran church in the 1920s when the country had become independent. A lighthouse serving ship and air traffic still operates in the church tower.
