FI: Helsingin Meilahdessa, tuttavallisesti Meikussa, on hemmoteltu herkkusuita jo vuodesta 1946. Legendaarisen Kuusihokin tarinaa jatkaa nyt samassa osoitteessa, Kuusitien ja Pihlajatien kulmassa, ravintola Meiccu.
Meicussa herkutellaan klassikkoannoksilla ainutlaatuisessa funkismiljöössä, muotoilija Paavo Tynellin valaisimien alla. Upea vintage-sisustus on näkynyt mm. Aki Kaurismäen Ariel-elokuvassa. Pöytä on katettu - Tervetuloa!
SV: I Helsingfors Mejlans, "Meikku", har man daltat gourmander från och med 1946. Historian av den legendariska restaurangen Kuusihokki fortsätter nu i samma adress, i hörnet av Tallvägen och Rönnvägen, under namnet Meiccu.
I Meiccu frossas det med klassiska rätter i en unik funkismiljö, under formgivare Paavo Tynells belysning. Den stiliga vintageinteriören har synats bl.a. i Aki Kaurismäkis film Ariel. Bordet är dukat - välkommen!
EN: In the Meilahti district of Helsinki, more familiarly known as Meikku, an establishment has indulged gourmets since 1946. The story of the legendary restaurant Kuusihokki now continues at the very same address, on the corner of Kuusitie and Pihlajatie, under the name Meiccu.
At Meiccu, one enjoys classic dishes in a unique functionalist decor illuminated with lamps by designer Paavo Tynell. This splendid vintage interior was featured in movies such as Ariel by director Aki Kaurismäki. The table is set - Welcome!
