FI: Lastentarhamuseossa pääset tutustumaan suomalaisen lastentarhatyön yli 130-vuotiseen historiaan. Museossa riittää nähtävää, koettavaa ja leikittävää niin lapsille kuin aikuisille. Museo on suunniteltu lapsinäkökulmasta tutustuttamaan entisajan lastentarhan elämään. Museo on täynnä mielenkiintoisia ja yhteiseen leikkiin kutsuvia esineitä ja paikkoja.
Ebeneser-säätiön ylläpitämä museo sijaitsee arkkitehti Wivi Lönnin suunnittelemassa Ebeneser-talossa Helsingin Alppiharjussa. Viitteitä talon alkuperäisestä tarkoituksesta lastentarhana on huomattavissa taloa ympäröivästä puutarhasta, julkisivun reliefeistä ja talon sisäisistä arkkitehtuurisista ratkaisuista.
Museo on avoinna yksittäiskävijöille tiistaisin ja keskiviikkoisin klo 12-19. Ryhmävaraukset etukäteistilauksesta yksittäiskävijöille suunnattujen aukioloaikojen ulkopuolella arkisin klo 8-17 välillä. Heinäkuussa museon näyttelyt ovat suljettuina huoltotauon vuoksi.
SV: På Barnträdgårdsmuseet får du bekanta dig med barnträdgårdens 130-åriga historia. Det finns mycket att se, uppleva och leka med både för barn och vuxna. Museet är utformat ur ett barnperspektiv för att introducera barn till livet i en barnträdgård förr i tiden. Museet är fullt av intressanta föremål och platser, som lockar till gemensam lek.
Museet är beläget i Ebeneser-huset i Alphyddan i Helsingfors. Huset är ritat av arkitekt Wivi Lönn. Spår av husets ursprungliga funktion går att finna i trädgården som omger huset, i reliefen som pryder husets fasad samt i husets inre arkitektoniska lösningar.
Museet öppet för allmänheten på tisdagar och onsdagar klockan 12–19. Förhandsbokade grupper tas emot utanför de allmänna öppethållningstiderna. I juli är museets utställningar stängda för underhåll.
EN: At the Kindergarten Museum, you can explore the 130-year history of Finnish kindergarten work. The museum has a lot to see, experience, and play with for both children and adults. The museum is designed from a children's perspective to introduce the daily life of kindergartens in the old days. The museum has plenty of interesting objects and engaging places that invite you to play together.
The museum is located in the Ebeneser House, designed by architect Wivi Lönn, in Alppiharju, Helsinki. Indications of the original purpose of the house can be seen in the surrounding garden, the reliefs on the facade, and the architectural solutions seen inside the house.
The Kindergarten Museum is open to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 7 pm. Group reservations by advance order outside the opening hours for public on weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm. In July, the museum's exhibitions are closed due to a maintenance break.
