FI: Akateeminen Kirjakauppa on perustettu vuonna 1893 ja on tunnettu laajasta valikoimastaan ja asiantuntevasta henkilökunnastaan. Akateeminen Kirjakauppa siirtyi ruotsalaisen Bonnier Booksin omistukseen lokakuussa 2015 ja jatkaa kirjojen ystävän omana kauppana. Akateeminen toimii Alvar Aallon suunnittelemassa liikerakennuksessa, Kirjatalossa (v.1969). Akateemisen katutasossa toimii Starbucks kahvila ja 2. kerroksessa Cafe Aalto jossa pöytiintarjoilu.
SV: Akademiska Bokhandeln, som grundades 1893, är känt för sin aktiva kulturinfluens och goda kundbetjäning. Akademiska Bokhandeln är sedan oktober 2015 en del av Bonnier Books-koncernen. Bokhandeln fungerar i centrum i Bokhuset som planerades av Alvar Aalto (1969). På gatuplan finns även caféet Starbucks, och på andra våningen Cafe Aalto med bordsbetjäning.

The Academic Bookstore offers a wide selection of books, office- and stationery supplies, as well as other products with a natural connection to bookstores. The Academic Bookstore is part of the Bonnier Books Group since October 2015. Alvar Aalto designed this commercial building in 1969. The premises also hosts a Starbucks café on the ground floor, as well as Cafe Aalto on the 2nd floor.
